Caroline made us laugh here! I was trying to video her talking because she was talking up a storm! Then, when she realized the camera was on her, she stopped and stared at the camera!

I just loved this picture so I thought I would post it! She is precious!

We are starting a garden and had planted some seeds to start some plants. We took Caroline out to see the beginnings of our starter plants on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. She was interested in them!

The next day a Clydesdale was in town to adverstise for an Atlanta radio station that now airs out of Senoia. We took Caroline up to see it.

My parents came to visit for a few days last week on their way back from North Carolina. We enjoyed their time here. We had beautiful weather during that time, so Caroline got to swing a lot. She LOVES being outside, and especially swinging in her swing!

It's been a long time...

It sure has been awhile since we posted on the blog! And we have lots of pictures to show for our time away! We will try to catch you up!

My grandma came to visit just after we posted last time. We enjoyed her being here for a couple of days...especially Caroline! As you can see from the picture, we enjoyed playing lots of games together while Caroline was sleeping. :)

Caroline is 10 months old! (This green grass is in Florida!) We went to Jacksonville a few weekends ago to visit our friends the Witts. We hadn't seen them since we moved from Wake Forest. We had a great visit with them and their girls. Caroline started really crawling at their house. She had to try to keep up with Hannah and Sophie!

While we were in Jacksonville we also got to see Becca and Brighton (we missed John)! It worked out that they were visiting friends there the same day! We hadn't seen them since we moved either. It was a refreshing weekend with great friends. We ate dinner with the Witts and the Sellers and had a wonderful time. Here are some pictures from our dinner and fun time afterwards.

We went to church at First Baptist Jacksonville with the Witts on Sunday morning, then headed on to Orlando. We went to Orlando because Ryan was attending a Youth Leadership conference on Monday and Tuesday at Universal. We were just glad it was in Orlando so we could visit family at the same time! We spent the beginning of the week in Orlando with Ryan's family. Our new niece, Mia, was born a week or so before we got there, so we were glad to get to meet and spend some time with her also.

The middle of the week we went to Melbourne to spend time with my parents. We enjoyed our time with them. Caroline and Ryan even went swimming in the pool! She sure loves water!

Caroline pulled herself up to standing for the first time a week ago! I peeked in on her while she was napping, and this is what I saw:

Caroline is starting to pull up on everything, or at least trying to.



She woke up from a nap while I was in the middle of folding laundry on Saturday. Here she is sitting in the pile of it. She seemed to like it. It was quite funny, because she sat still and didn't move until I was almost done folding!


Caroline was exhausted the other day and the only place she fell asleep was in my arms. We laid her on our bed, because I couldn't lift her into the crib. She was very comfy!


Ryan and I both loved the dress Caroline wore to church today. She looked more like a little girl than a baby. A woman at the church gave her this bunny today, for Easter, I think. It sings Jesus Loves Me.

We had some flurries until around 12:00 on Saturday. Caroline and I watched it fall for a little bit.

I think this is the sweetest picture of Ryan and Caroline. I love it! It actually brought tears to my eyes!

Here is a video of Caroline. She is swinging in the backyard. She loves to swing and even cries when you take her out of it. We have had a few beautiful days that we have been able to take her out to swing. Today was stormy until after dinner, so we took her out again! She loves it.

Ryan had fun putting these goggles on Caroline this afternoon. She smiled, most of the time! They stayed on long enough to get a few cute pictures!

No more crawling yet, but I am sure it is coming. Friday night was just my warning.

It is hard to believe that next week Caroline will be 10 months old!

The goggles are actually from a VBS kit for our church. I am now officially the VBS director (I guess that is what they will call it) for this summer. The person who was supposed to do it will be moving, so it has kind of all shifted to me. They did ask me if I would do it, and I said yes. Hopefully it will all go well. Pray for me as I begin to plan it!
